Stepping-Stone Initiative
Piecing it back together:
The Stepping-Stone Initiative is a proposal to directly solicit individuals, businesses and service organizations in order to fund the renovation and restoration of the exterior masonry, façade and stair treads or "stepping-stones" at the entrance to Brockton's War Memorial Building.
In an attempt to offer a variety of donor opportunities the Steering Committee will attempt to raise funds dedicated to address the grave problem of the exterior deterioration of this historic memorial. The Stepping-Stone Initiative participants are asked to donate a minimum of $1,000 to this aspect of the restoration project. In return, an appropriate recognition will be inscribed upon the donor plaque, which will be located on the building's exterior. Please send your donation and inscription preference to Stepping-Stone Initiative, 907 Main Street, Brockton, MA 02301.
